Kandice Cole

Kandice Cole (she/her) is the Founder and CEO of K. Cole Coaching and Consulting. Her work includes consulting with nonprofit organizations on program and curriculum development as well as coaching professional women transitioning into entrepreneurship. She taught in elementary classrooms for 6 years before transitioning into consulting. Kandice currently serves on the women's board of Boys Hope Girls Hope Illinois and volunteers with several other organizations dedicated to education and women's empowerment.

Lawbensky John

Lawbensky John is a native-born Haitian. He moved to the United States at the age of 6 with his family and is currently an investment analyst with a few years of successful experience working with non-profit organizations and for-profit companies. As an undergraduate at Rutgers University, Lawbensky worked with the Haitian Alliance for Community Action, a non-profit organization, as a financial accountant analyst for three years before being voted onto the board of trustees. Lawbensky graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He is currently the Co-Founder of Mizanmi, “a lifestyle brand for the woman on the move”.

Janvieve Williams Comrie

Janvieve Williams Comrie (she/her) is a Black and Latina human rights strategist, trainer and organizer with a deep commitment to assist in the building of powerful social movements for racial justice and human rights. She has worked in a variety of fields and for several human rights institutions, including the Office of the High Commissioner on Human Rights Regional Office Central America, where she coordinated a regional program on race and racism. Janvieve is internationally recognized for her work with Afrodescendent communities. She is also an Associate Professor at The New School.

Swanellie Paulin

Swanellie Paulin (she/her) is a financial advisor with Edward Jones who is passionate about teaching her clients the importance of building wealth, understanding their relationship with money, and closing the wealth gap.Part of her process of building her client’s generational wealth focuses on getting them to dive into their relationship with money. Because of her unprecedented dedication to clients, Edward Jones has awarded her the Partner’s Award, Field Trainer Award, and Pioneer Award.

Nakashia Dunner

For seven years Nakashia (she/her) traveled the world as a U.S. diplomat, advocating for equality, access to social services, and basic human rights. She was named the Department of State’s 2016 Human Rights Officer of the Year. In October 2017, she returned to the United States to continue this work in our healthcare and food systems.
